Victory Baptist Press was founded in 1984 by Dr. Thomas Woodward for the purpose of providing scriptures to missionaries free of charge. The ministry has grown over the years and millions of scripture portions have been printed in many languages. These scriptures have been shipped to thirty-four foreign countries and every state in the United States. Though Dr. Woodward is now in heaven, his vision of a Bible-printing ministry is being fulfilled in greater ways than ever before.

 

     Yet, the need is still great! Thousands of languages and dialects have never had any part of the scriptures translated and printed. Missionaries around the world are in great need of Bibles to give to their converts, as well as Bible literature for mass distribution.

 

     Victory Baptist Press is dedicated to printing the scriptures in as many languages as possible and providing them to churches and missionaries that request them. The cost of operating the ministry is great, and since there is never any charge for the scriptures we print, we must rely on regular support from churches and individuals to finance the operating expenses. We have many friends that help us with their faithful, generous support, but much more is needed to meet the demands placed upon the ministry.

 

     The Thomas F. Woodward Endowment Fund has been established for the purpose of generating an annual income for the ministry, beyond the monthly support that is received. The principle donations will remain in the fund, and the interest earned will be withdrawn once a year to be used as income for the ministry.
